Providence is calling a Registered Nurse Clinical Liaison (Strategy and Business Development, Day Shift, Part-time) to Providence Health & Services in Spokane, WA.We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
Position details: This is a part-time position with benefits (24 hours/week, Wednesday through Friday). This position will work one weekend every 5 weeks. This position is located in Spokane and requires driving to Hospitals and Skilled Nursing Facilities in the area.
In this position you will:
Work with discharge planners, facility staff, physicians, and individuals to assess appropriateness for services.
Assure appropriate documentation for compliance with agency and statutory guidelines.
Provide consultation and informational presentations regarding end of life care and home health; share expertise through in-services on pain and symptom management options; serve as a clinical resource and educator for physicians, facility staff, patients, families and community, on Home Health, Hospice / Palliative Care, or other issues in various settings and facilities.
Coordinate closely with Account Representative to build referral volumes in assigned accounts and develop opportunities for educational outreach that will enhance service awareness and access.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current Washington State professional licensure or certification as required appropriate to education
Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Home Health experience
Health care industry experience
