The University of Virginia Department of Anesthesiology seeks ABA certified or eligible candidates with fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesia committed to a career in academic medicine. Additional training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia is preferred. All candidates must have an interest in combining clinical practice with resident education.

Department of Anesthesiology faculty members work closely with residents, fellows, and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) to provide anesthesia and pain management for patients at the University of Virginia Hospital, the UVA Outpatient Surgery Center, the Pain Management Center, and several out-of-OR locations.
