This position is responsible to ensure compliance to current state,federal and other regulatory guidelines as well as operate in the most efficient manner possible. Ensure all specimens are prepared in a prompt and timely manner according to policy and procedures. Proficient in computer applications, effective in problem solving skills. Ability to relate to a variety of health professions in different settings with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Provide technical assistance and support in Anatomic Pathology when needed. 3 years of experience in Pathology preferred.
Experience/Education: * 3 years of experience in Pathology Department highly preferred * Ability to relate to a variety of health professionals in different settings * Good interpersonal and communication skills * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Courses in biology, chemistry, and mathematics preferred
