Performs diagnostic Cardiovascular Ultrasound studies under the direction of the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Department. Helps to coordinate a wide variety of technical activities to ensure the efficient operation of theses diagnostic services. Provides assistance with scheduling of all cardiovascular procedures to maximize the efficiency of overall scheduling. Provides care to patients in acute acre, impatient, outpatient settings. Maintains equipment and facilities. Performs diagnostic echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound exams for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Provides care to patients in acute care, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Registry in one ultrasound modality by ARRT, ARDMS or CCI or registry eligible.
