Overlook Medical Center is seeking to hire a Director of Stroke Neurology to assume leadership of our stroke team.
Overlook Medical center was named a Best Regional Hospital, high performing in neurology and Neurosurgery, colon cancer surgery, diabetes, endocrinology and heart failure.
Located in Summit NJ, 25 miles west of Manhattan, Overlook is home to the Atlantic Health System’s Joint Commission certified Comprehensive Stroke Center.
With our own tele-stroke network supporting 6 ED’s, a dedicated Neuro ICU and a team of 5 neurointerventional neurosurgeons we are 1 of the most active stroke centers in the state, recognized for clinical leadership and innovation.
The candidate should be Board Certified in Neurology, fellowship trained in stroke with Vascular Neurology certification, and have at least 5 years post-fellowship experience working in a stroke center. Leadership skills a must.
Join our expert, progressive, collaborative Neurosciences Department, currently including 10 full-time faculty neurologists, 13 voluntary neurologists, 22 active neurosurgeons and 25 physiatrists, as well as neuropsychologists and nurse practitioners.
