The primary function of the Clinical Research Coordinator is to manage all aspects of conducting psychiatric clinical trials. The coordinator will act as a liaison between the investigators, patients, the institutional review board (IRB), and study sponsors.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Patient recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow-up
Advertising and medical community outreach
Ensuring protocol compliance and patient safety
ECG, vital signs, phlebotomy and laboratory sample acquisition
Administration of clinical scales and other patient assessments, as appropriate
Maintenance of all trial documentation, including patient case report forms
Data entry and query resolution
The coordinator will work closely with the investigators, but must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision at times. The applicant must be organized and have strong interpersonal skills, as communication is a key function of the position.
BA or BS in science, psychology, or health-related field
1 to 4 years experience in psychiatric clinical trials
(Opportunities available for applicants without direct clinical research experience)
Strong command of computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and internet
Strong interest and prior experience in subject recruitment, community outreach and marketing is highly desirable

The ideal candidate has 1-4 years experience as a CRC working in psychiatric clinical trials.
