Our large Cardiology and Sleep Facility is seeking a Registered Polysomnography Technologist to work in our 8 bed Sleep Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. The Technologist must provide exceptional customer service to patients, be able to multi-task, be organized, flexible and be a team player. Applicant MUST have EMR experience. Our busy Cardiology/Sleep Center practice continues to grow and has an immediate opening for a qualified Registered Polysomnography Technologist who develops competency in and performs the basics of polysomnographic testing and associated interventions under direct supervision of the Medical Director. The Technologist will perform all assigned work related duties in accordance with the organization's policies and all applicable state and federal laws.
**BOARD ELIGIBLE CANDIDATE WILL BE CONSIDERED
Education & Experience: REQUIRED. High School Diploma or Equivalency is required. Prefer medical background such as CNA, MA or LPN. Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography.
Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnography Technologist.
Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnography Technologists as a Registered Polysomnography Technologist or equivalent.

Over the past few years, Dr. Winkler and Dr. Carter have continued their vision to reduce cardiovascular risk through a comprehensive care model. The Mountain Heart team delivers preventative care utilizing education for patients and monthly clinical conversations with providers, preventative medicine including health screenings and early disease detection and diagnosis. We focus on streamlined cost efficient treatment options, and streamlined interventional cardiology care.
Led by founding partner and seasoned business entrepreneur, Mountain Heart CEO, Michael Zervas, has successfully recruited additional providers and staff members essential to improving cardiovascular care in northern Arizona, including the additions of Vein Specialist Dr. Robert Wolyn and Sleep Specialist and Pulmonologist, Dr. Steve Marks.
Under the direction of Mr. Zervas, Mountain Heart has grown from a staff of 10 to a team of over 50 medical professionals committed to ensuring every patient receives access to the Mountain Heart standard of excellence – a higher standard of medical care. Mountain Heart has continued to improve care through the accreditation process in most service modalities while expanding service lines based on community need and works to consistently provide an outstanding experience for every patient.
Commonly overlooked, sleep health has a direct impact on cardiovascular risk factors that can negatively affect heart health. In order to raise awareness for better sleep health and decrease cardiovascular risk for patients, Mountain Heart opened its Sleep Facility in 2009, providing on-site sleep studies. Dr. Steve Marks, a Phoenix Top Doctor and nationally ranked physician oversees every patient personally. In addition, Dr. Marks has created a comprehensive compliance program to assist patients in improving their quality of life through sleep medicine health and pulmonary care.
In 2010, Mountain Heart partnered with DeRosa Physical Therapy to expand services once again. Cardiac Conditioning and Wellness offers on-site cardiac rehabilitation in addition to physical therapy services assisting patients in transitioning into individual fitness programs.
In 2012, Mountain Heart has already increased service modalities including Dietitian Services and extended reach further into rural Arizona communities. Outreach clinics in Page, and Winslow Arizona have allowed Mountain Heart interventional cardiologists to serve rural Arizona communities and increase access to quality heart and sleep care. In partnership with the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce, Mountain Heart was recently recognized for its work in rural communities and awarded a $95,000 rural expansion grant by the Arizona Commerce Authority.
Understanding that Food is Medicine and patients heal faster and decrease their risk of disease with proper nutrition, Mountain Heart added Dietitian Services. Cathy Tomasi, a Registered Dietitian, Personal Trainer and Certified Diabetes Educator offers nutrition counseling and behavior modification assistance to patients to assist them in establishing healthy relationships with food.
In partnership with DeRosa Physical Therapy and Summit Fitness , Mountain Heart is taking cardiovascular care to the next level. The latest joint venture – The Summit Fitness and Mountain Heart Wellness at Mountain Heart located on University Avenue across from the Mountain Heart Cardiovascular Care Center and Sleep Facility is the only medical fitness facility in northern Arizona working with cardiologists, dietitian services, physical therapists and pulmonary services to offer prevention education classes in addition to health screenings, group fitness classes and increased access to medical personnel to decrease cardiovascular risk and sustain improved overall heart function.
