The Executive Director for Inspira Health Partners (Inspira Health Network's Clinically Integrated Network) will be responsible/ accountable for the planning, development, implementation, and ongoing management of our clinically integrated network. Key areas of responsibility include network development, physician/provider relations, contracting and business development activities, clinical care integration/medical management/quality, credentialing, implementation and oversight of information systems, oversight of financial performance, and representation within the Inspira Health system initiatives. Once the Clinically integrated network has been fully developed, the Executive Director will be accountable for on-going operations and meeting quality and financial targets. As such, the Executive Director will provide clear strategic and operational direction to enhance the value of services provided to the patients, hospital, physician and payors in the market.
The Executive Director reports directly to the Executive Vice President, Chief Population Health and Clinical Officer of Inspira Health Network. The Executive Director will be responsible for all operations of Inspira Health Partners. The overall goal of IHP is to deliver health care that meets the emerging need for value (cost, quality and service) and in keeping with the Network's goal of Patient Centered Triple Aim Performance. It is the goal of this key leader for IHP to ensure IHP's viable operation and growth. This position requires an effective, productive and collaborative working relationship with designated physician leaders and physician constituencies, as well as, relevant department and operational leaders across the broad continuum of care. She/he will be responsible for coordinating all such services in compliance with the Network's mission and goals. The Executive Director will foster an environment of professional involvement, excellence, inclusiveness and promote an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration.
Education: Graduate level degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 7 years of leadership experience, (10 years preferred) in complex healthcare organization with demonstrated success in quality, clinical improvement and patient safety efforts; experience in operations management including leading and participating in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives; a proven track record for overseeing and positively impacting clinical improvement efforts, with an understanding of its business and financial considerations; experience in, and sensitivity to, the unique dynamics of an integrated hospital system; demonstrated leadership role in working with a broad base of organizational customers; exposure to and participation in national organizations; demonstrated skills in planning, organizing, decision making, analytical thinking, financial management and communication required; demonstrated skills in Quality Improvement and operational improvements (e.g. "Lean") methods.
Inspira Health Network is a charitable nonprofit health care organization formed in November 2012 by the merger of South Jersey Healthcare and Underwood-Memorial Hospital. The Network, which traces its roots to 1899, now comprises three hospitals, four multi-specialty health centers and a total of more than 60 locations.
