Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants

The Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Technologist I Per Diem performs END procedures including, but no limited to, electroencephalograms (EEG), evoked potentials (BSAER, VER, SSER), nerve conduction studies, (NCS), electronystagmograms (ENG) and video telemetry seizure monitory (LTM-EEG). The Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist I PD is responsible for the timely completion of daily patient testing, accurate documentation of patient testing, and physical maintenance of clinical testing equipment. He/she schedules and performs testing as a member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, and at all times works to ensure patient safety, comfort and privacy.
Minimum Requirements: * Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Neurodiagnostic Technology, or have equivalent educational experience. * Registry in one or more specialties of neurodiagnostic testing (EEG, CNIM, EP, and/or others) is highly recommended. * A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification is required. * Must document completion of at least 4 hours of relevant continuing education annually. * Prior work experience in neurodiagnostic testing is highly recommended.
