Fairview Health Services is seeking a pediatric/fetal echocardiogrpher to join the multi-specialty practice at University of Minnesota Children’s Masonic Hospital (MHealth) in Minneapolis, MN.
We are seeking full-time candidate to join a team of 8 sonographers who has the knowledge and understanding of surgical procedures for the repair or partial repair of congenital heart disease, and the various modifications encountered for different congenital disorders. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to evaluate complex fetal cardiac anatomy and physiology as well. You will take part in quality assurance activities and research studies as needed.
Full time (1.0 FTE) day shift
Shifts are: Day shifts working Monday - Friday + call (60 minute call response)

In this role, you will:
Perform non-invasive cardiac diagnostic imaging using ultrasound technology to aid the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of congenital and acquired cardiac diseases.
Evaluate the cardiac status by using a logical and systematic approach to analyze the heart and related structures segmentally: Thoracoabdominal situs, Cardiac Position, Atrial Situs, Atrioventricular connection, Ventricular Morphology, Ventriculoarterial connection
Evaluate pediatric patients with complex congenital heart disease.by having extensive knowledge of the incidence, causes, inheritance patterns, and pathologic consequences of congenital malformations.
Ability to evaluate complex fetal cardiac anatomy and physiology
Ability to provide relevant echocardiographic data, making quantitative calculations and communicating the impressions for the physicians.
Participates in quality assurance activities and research studies as needed
