OVERVIEW: The Director of Nursing is responsible for managing all aspects of care and services provided in the Care Center, (assisted living, memory support and skilled nursing) including but not limited to the clinical, financial, human resources and quality assessment / performance improvement activities. This position also serves as a resource for the entire community regarding residents’ cognitive and functional ability as this relates to living in a Vi community.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Must possess knowledge of regulatory compliance and Continuing Care Retirement Community operations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment.
Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office.
Graduation from a School of Nursing for Registered Nurses.
Minimum 7 years of experience working with the geriatric populations and at least 3 years of prior experience in a management role.
Current State Licensure in state where practicing. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation / Automatic External Defibrillator certification.
Additional Salary Information: Offering a $5,000 sign on bonus, and eligible for an annual annual bonus incentive.
