Healtheast and Fairview Health Services is looking for a Surgery Admit Unit/PACU Clinical Manager at St Joseph’s Hospital in St Paul, MN. This position is an 80 hour per two weeks exempt position and is eligible for full benefits.

About this position - SAU/PACU Clinical Manager
Working in the SAU/PACU at St. Joseph’s Hospital is an exhilarating and fast-paced experience. We are continually changing to keep up with the needs of our patients, families, and employees. As Clinical Manager you will manage unit operations for the SAU/PACU department ensuring consistency and accountability of operations.
Other exciting duties include:
Partnering with unit Lead Preceptor, Educator and Staffing Department.
Participate in staff interviews and hiring.
Work on improvement projects in department and collaborate with other departments utilizing Value Based Improvement methodology.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Valid Basic Life Support(BLS)
Valid RN Licensure from MN Board of Nursing
Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS) from the American Heart Association for some units
2 years nursing experience
Preceptor and Charge Nurse experience
Experience with quality improvement activities
Ability to function as a Charge Nurse, Preceptor, Clinical Resource and Educator
Must be a clinical expert
Master’s Degree in Nursing
Certified Perioperative Nurse(CNOR) from Competency and Credentialing Institute for some units
