Fairview Health Services is looking for Surgical Technologist. The Southdale Hospital OR (Operating Room) and Same Day Surgery departments have a combined total of 24 beds and is located in Edina, MN. We serve patients of all ages and cases including higher level heart, neuro, orthopedics, Da Vinci robotics, cardiovascular, cysto, urology, dental, OB, GYN, eye, and generals- averaging 20,000 cases a year. Surgical techs will work on a variety of cases.
This position is eligible for a Sign-On bonus (up to $7,500) and Fairview Employee Referral bonus.
Surg Tech schedule typically includes; 8-hour shifts (day, evening, and limited occasional night shifts), M-F with weekend, holiday rotation/call (typically every third-weekend call rotation), and occasional weeknight call rotation. Position can be either 72 or 80 hours in pay period (exact amount determined at offer based on mutual agreement). Benefit eligible.
Requires; Military or LPN surgical asisstant, or surgical technologist training program completion Current BLS certification with American Heart Association as a Healthcare Provider Must have ability to prioritize and work in multi-task in a complex work environment. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex work environment.
