Under general supervision of the clinical supervisor, following the minimum guidelines for Electroneurodiagnostic testing by the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society (ACNS), the Neurodiagnostic Technologist 1 ; utilizes best practice to perform Neurodiagnostic testing procedures including, but not limited to, Electroencephalograms ( EEG) , and Video Telemetry Seizure Monitoring including ; Long Term Epilepsy Monitoring (LTM); Continuous EEG Monitoring (CEEG); Evoked Potential testing (VER, BAER, SSEP), ENG testing, Transcranial Doppler Monitoring and advanced TCD testing, must be able to equally participate in on call/ Stand by rotation for after hours, weekends, and holiday coverage. Must be able to participate in weekend rotation shifts. Responsibilities also include : completion of daily work assignments, notifying management of supply and equipment needs, and proper maintenance and cleaning of lab area and equipment.
Highschool diploma or GED required
Basic Life Support required
Graduate of Nationally Accredited Electroneurodiagnostic program with an Associate of Science in Neurodiagnostic Technology Degree is preferred
Board eligible for credential in (Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist) from The American Board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ABRET) Must successfully obtain within one year of hire
