An onsite specific nurse or allied healthcare professional who provides a leadership role in promoting excellent cardiac patient care. Actively participates as a member of the Chest Pain Center Team to plan, develop, and implement program goals and operations. Coordinates the ongoing CQI process to improve care of the cardiac patient population and ensures the success of achieving and maintaining ACC accreditation status. [Note: The designated person to participate in this role may also have other roles/responsibilities within their current formal CHRISTUS job description. Designating one person in the CPC Coordinator role is a requirement of ACC accreditation].
Education: Professional degree inhealthcare related field
Licensure: Licensed in current specialty
Experience: At least 3-5 years involved in the direct care of the ACS patients.
Certification: Prefer current professional specialty certification status
