Renders advised life support to sick, disabled or injured individuals based on signs, symptoms or complaints, prior to the individual's hospitalization. Standard of care is limited to the use of the knowledge, skills and techniques within the New Jersey Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic scope of practice in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and Jersey City Medical Center (JCMC) policies.
NREMT-P, NRP or NJ Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic, AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider; AHA ACLS; AHA PALS or American Academy of Pediatrics PEPP-Advanced; Pre-Hospital or International Trauma Life Support (Advanced Level); High School Diploma or GED, Associate's Degree or Higher preferred; Current Driver's License and meet the current insurance company's requirements. HazMat & CBRNE Awareness; CEVO training within 3 years; NIMS I-700 & 800; ICS-200; Annual ALS Skills Verification; Successful completion of core competency evaluation and EMS orientation.
