RN 3 North Medical/Surgical/Telemetry and Oncology
A 3 North nurse is equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive care for adult patients with oncology and medical/telemetry diagnoses as well as for patients recovering post-operatively from elective and non-elective surgeries.
Implement measures to prevent post-operative complications such as VTE, Pneumonia, Post-Op Fever, and Catheter Associated UTI.
Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.
Collaborates with the patient's designated care partner/coach to meet the educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to ensure safe and quality patient care.
Demonstrate Service Excellence Standards at all times.
