Palomar Medical Center - Escondido is looking for a Nurse Manager Women's Services to join their team providing care to OB Triage, Labor and Delivery, OB Cesarean Section Circulating and Recovery, High Risk OB (Antepartum), immediate care of the newborn and Postpartum patients.
Palomar Medical Center (PMC) opened in 2012 and features 288 private single-patient rooms with 12 LDR beds and 17 private postpartum beds with approximately 2,500 deliveries annually. PMCE was recently ranked one of the top 250 hospitals in the US by Healthgrades. This position will report to a District Director and work collaboratively with 2 other Nurse Managers. The hospital has a Level II NICU run by Rady Children’s Hospital with 24/7 Neonatologist and ALS team coverage.
The Nurse Manager will play an active role in developing a high performing team, establishing goals and demonstrating best practices, modeling behavior standards, and ensuring a high level of productivity in the department. We will consider an experienced Supervisor for this role looking for advancement.

Minimum Education: BSN or Master's Degree in a healthcare related field (to also include MBA) Minimum Experience: 5 years related clinical experience Required License: Current CA RN license Required Certification: AWHONN Intermediate and/or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certificate, Gnosis Certification, American Heart Association recognized Advanced Cardiac Life Support and BLS - Healthcare Provider, Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) prior to start
