RN Cardiac Telemetry – St. John’s Hospital – Maplewood, MN
HealthEast and Fairview Health Services is looking for an RN to join their Cardiac Telemetry Unit at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN. This position is 64 hours per two weeks on the Night shift, for 8-hour shifts, Block schedule, and is eligible for benefits.

About this Unit:
This is a 33-bed Heart Care unit with rapid turnaround for patients that stay on average for 2.5 days. Patients will discharge to Heart Clinic next door. Typical patients have observable chest pain, ruling out anything cardiac, stress tests, and if negative, they send home. If positive cardiac abnormalities, they will send to St. Joseph’s Hospital (Downtown St. Paul) in an ambulance. Most are stable unless more acute like congestive heart failure. This includes stroke patients, cardiac drips, and alcohol withdrawal. RNs will identify rhythms and determine next steps for patients. There is opportunity for obtaining certifications such as Med/Surg, Ortho, or Chemo.
