POSITION SUMMARY: Twenty-four hour accountability for operational issues related to the delivery of professional and para-professional nursing care provided to the facilityï¿½s patients. Collaborates with ancillary departments and multi-disciplinary team members and interacts closely with other facility staff and Department Heads to ensure that safe, quality patient care is provided, in accordance with corporate, facility and unit standards. Accountable for achieving the departmentï¿½s budgetary goals and for quality outcomes. Participates on committees, task forces as assigned. Formulates reviews and assists in the revision of policies and procedures. Interacts, coordinates and reviews activities and actions of affiliating schools and volunteers as appropriate.
Qualifications: POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Florida RN License BS in Nursing or health-related field is required Masterï¿½s Degree in Nursing or health-related field preferred Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification Current PALS Certification Minimum three (3) years experience in ICU/Telemetry/ER setting Previous management experience preferred Excellent physical assessment and critical-thinking skills Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language
