The Senior Ultrasound Technician in the Adult Echocardiography Laboratory is responsible for performing the full range of adult echocardiography procedures including, 2-D/3-D echo, stress echocardiography (exercise/pharmacological) and contrast echocardiograms in acute and outpatient care settings utilizing multi-vendor sourced equipment. The Senior Ultrasound Technician requires certification as an RDCS/RCS.
Must be RDCS or CCI certified with two years experience as a Cardiac Sonographer in an acute care setting.
Ability to perform all requested echo examinations as ordered by the attending physician.
Experience with/working knowledge of transesophageal echocardiogram procedure.
