The BME III will travel to assigned work locations as required according to customer and organizational needs. Consistently delivers high quality service thereby ensuring superior customer satisfaction. The BME II performs high level troubleshooting, calibration and operational evaluations on complex medical equipment. Will perform Safety Inspections, Preventive Maintenance Inspections and/or repairs as requested, scheduled or required. The BME III provides training to technical and clinical staff as requested by the Biomedical Engineering Manager, Regional Manager or Mobile Service Manager. Maintains a professional and business-like relationship with customers. Performs other duties as assigned.
Associates degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Trade School and/or equivalent work/military experience in electronics, Electrical/Biomedical engineering or related field required.
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands on experience in Biomedical Engineering field with related hospital experience as a Biomedical Technologiest required
CBET certification and/or OEM certification on Ventilators, Defibrillator, Telemetry and other critical care equipment preferred
Attentive to detail and communication and follow-up as required with customers
