Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Carle Physician Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Level II Nursery program in Urbana, Illinois.
Position Details Include:
Reasonable volume, well-paced environment and flexible schedule
12 hour shifts; 7 am - 7 pm
Unit operates 24/7
Support provided by 24-hour in house Pediatric Hospitalists
Pediatric specialists include Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Genetics, Neonatology, Neurology, Pediatric Surgery, and Pulmonology available for consult
Coordinate patient care for newborns including physical assessment, implementation, evaluation, and post-discharge for patients and their families.
Function as a clinical leader, consultant and educator in collaboration with physicians, nurses and all health care team members.
Education Requirements: Master's degree in Nursing
1-2 years of clinical NP practice is preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements: Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure
