Associate/Full Level Professor of Surgery – Cardiac Intensivist-Emergency Medicine Attending University of California, San Francisco
The Department of Surgery, University of California, San Francisco, is seeking outstanding candidates for a full-time academic Cardiac Intensivist-Emergency Medicine Attending with an exemplary record of patient care. Candidates must be board certified in Emergency Medicine and have fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine. Candidates must also have at least 5 years of experience with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation management. Applicants with prior experience as a Medical Director of a critical care or emergency medicine clinical unit or experience in quality improvement work and demonstrated leadership skills are encouraged to apply. This position will have clinical responsibilities at UCSF Parnassus while being primarily based at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG).
Candidates must have recognized skills in the education of Residents and Medical Students, and will be expected to be active participants in the department's residency training and educational programs.
