The Columbia “Wm. Jennings Dorn” VA Medical Center seeks an Interventional Cardiologist. We are affiliated with the University of South Carolina (USC) School of Medicine and provides teaching services for students and residents.
Preferred candidate: B/C Cardiologist with Interventional experience having fluoroscopy privileges and certification Percutaneous Balloon angioplasty/Stent Peripheral Access preferred. Heart failure device insertion and management.
The opportunity allows you to provide comprehensive patient care in full spectrum of Cardiology practice to include clinical, outpatient, inpatient care, teaching fellows from the University of South Carolina and possible research activities in collaboration with USC.
Provide support to the function of the outpatient Cardiology clinics, the inpatient consultation service and the on-call requirement.
Provide comprehensive patient care in the form of invasive, non-invasive, consultative, and inpatient/outpatient cardiology care.
Moderate Sedation Privileges and certification required.
Work Schedule: M-F, 8-4:30
