POSITION SUMMARY: Job Summary: Provides continuous cardiac monitor observation and the documentation of patientï¿½s rhythm on both a routinely designated schedule and episodically for changes in the patientï¿½s baseline rhythm or for any arrhythmias should they develop. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Works Closely With: Staff Nurses, Physicians, Patients, Visitors and Families
ï¿½ High School graduation or equivalent and successful completion of basic EKG course or proficiency of test for same. Advanced EKG courses desired.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: ï¿½ American Heart Basic Life Support ï¿½ Successful Completion of Basic EKG Course
