JFK Memorial Hospital has provided medical care to residents in the Coachella Valley since 1966. A group of physicians, including Dr. Reynaldo Carreon, founded the hospital and today one of JFKï¿½s cross streets is named in his honor.
Originally called Indio Community Hospital, JFK has grown to a 145-bed acute-care hospital that is part of Tenet Healthcare California. It offers a variety of services, including: Emergency care 24/7 Orthopedic and joint replacement services using emerging technology Cardiovascular services Maternity care and pediatric services Ambulatory surgery center Imaging services Outpatient Rehabilitation Center
Position Overview: Under the Supervision of the Director of Materiel Management provides supplies and equipment to all areas of the hospital on a daily basis. Performs issues through IMMS computer, batches charge cards, stocks areas of assignments, stocks crash carts, and IV supplies and solutions and other areas/supplies as needed. Keeps work area clean and organized, performs all duties with a focus on customer service.
Position Requirements: Able to lift 40 pounds unassisted Able to read, write and speak English Previous hospital or medical supply experience preferred Valid drivers license
