Saddleback Memorial's centers of excellence are renowned for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer, heart disease, stroke, pulmonary disease, orthopedics and diabetes; and for leadership in emergency medicine, critical care medicine, breast health, outpatient rehabilitation, advanced imaging, women's health, geriatric care and surgery, including robotic-assisted procedures.
The cardiac rehabilitation nurse will plan and provide cardiac rehabilitative care sessions to the adult and geriatric patient while assuring patient safety. The nurse is responsible for conducting an individual needs assessment; planning, implementing and monitoring the patient while undergoing cardiac rehabilitation. This treatment of care is aimed to improve both physical function and prognosis while promoting independent self-management through education.
We believe that good health is the cornerstone of progress. We are firm in our resolve to make exemplary health care accessible and affordable to all, dedicated to lowering the high rate of cardiovascular disease, including stroke, in minority populations and committed to advocacy and diversity. We are guided by ethical principles in all transactions and strive for excellence in our training and skills.
