Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
The Northport, NY Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located on scenic Long Island, is recruiting for a full-time Nurse Practitioner- Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS). You will be responsible for the management of veterans with permanent pacemakers, internal cardiac defibrillators and implantable loop recorders and veterans with arrhythmias in collaboration with the Electrophysiologist. You will have a primary, but not sole, focus for providing specialty care in the area of cardiac electrophysiology and pacemaker/defibrillator management. You will conduct outpatient clinic appointments, perform cardiac stress tests, and function as an integral part of a multi-specialty cardiac care team. Requires sophisticated knowledge about clinical electrophysiology and interrogation of implanted devices and management of arrythmias. CEPS certification is preferred.
Mon-Fri only, no weekends, no on-call!
