Administers ionizing radiation. Operates x-ray equipment and takes diagnostic radiographs. Provides patient services utilizing diagnostic imaging modalities. Practices sterile technique when required. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of radiographic techniques, radiation protection, anatomy, positioning, medical terminology and radiographic physics.

Formal Accredited Radiology Technology Program
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic technologist (ARRT)
PLUS An Additional Registration by the American Registry in (CT) or (M) or (NM)
or (MR)and Texas Medical Board in Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT)
CPR/BLS required (AHA).
