Summary:

A current Louisiana license will be required for these individuals prior to employment at St. Patrick Hospital.In addition to the Louisiana license, nuclear medicine technologists must be licensed by the NMTCB or the ARRT (N).Each Registered Technologist will maintain a level of competency necessary to work in their chosen fields. Competency will be expected in performance of job duties associated with varying age groups.The evaluation of job performance will be done annually.The registered Technologist can base his/her performance on behavior, clinical skills, leadership and quality maintenance.   

Requirements:

• Completion of Nuclear Medicine Program 
• Radiology Associate Degree Required, or B.S Degree preferred
• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred, but not required
• Nuclear Cardiology preferred
• Clinical Experience Requirements as outlined by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists   
• LSRT 
• ARRT preferred
• NMTCB
