We are currently seeking a talented RN Charge to join our team in the Telemetry PCU on Night shift.
RN Charge coordinates functions and activities related to a single departmental function. Position is responsible for a clinic unit. Position coordinates the scheduling efforts of the unit RN's. Acts as liaison person to internal and external customers (i.e., pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, hospital administration). Responsible for developing and implementing plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements. Trains and mentors staff. Special Skills: Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively implement change and assist with the management of departmental budget. Must be able to independently make decisions in high-stress situations. #LI-LM1
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school. Two years relevant clinical nursing experience. Preferred Qualifications: BSN. Management experience with two years supervisory. Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.. Required Certifications/Licensure: ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab, L&D: ACLS required upon orientation completion.
