Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Carle Physician Group in Urbana, Illinois is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our growing Critical Care Team on a PRN basis.
Position details include:
Join a growing, team driven care model including dedicated Critical Care physicians and four advanced practice providers
Support growing Neuro ICU and CVICU programs
Support a 48 (growing to 50) bed ICU including cardiac, trauma, medical, surgical and neuro adult patients
Assist with hospital codes along with Critical Care physician and code team
Opportunity to learn ICU procedures such as PICC placement, intubation, chest tubes and central lines
State of the art ICU in Carle's newly completed nine-story, 390,000 square foot patient tower
Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner with Acute Care specialty preferred
Or Physician Assistant with ICU experience
1-2 years of APP experience required
Consideration for nursing ICU/Cardiac/Neuro/ED experience
Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure/physician assistant licensure
BLS and ACLS certification
Must satisfactorily complete all continuing education including NIH Stroke Scale Certification regarding the care of acute stroke patients
