| Up to $3,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Patient Care Tech / PCT
Summary
Under the supervision, and/or direction of the Nursing Director/Clinical Manager, Resource Nurse, or Staff Nurse, the Patient Care Tech / PCT performs various duties in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established functions and procedures of the hospital.
Qualifications:
Position Qualification: (Training, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities)
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistance with Phlebotomy and EKG certification or
- Foreign Nurse/Physician with appropriate documentation or
- Nursing Student with first semester clinical course completion.
- Knowledge of principles of patient hygiene, comfort, safety measures preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
Must process one (1) of the two following:
- Patient Care Technician Certification (PCT) or Foreign Nurse/Physician with appropriate documentation.
- Current BLS/Heart Saver certification
- CPI within 30 days of hire
