RN Cardiopulmonary PRN Days Position Summary
Provides direct patient care to include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Works with patients in the bronchoscopy lab, stress lab, echo, and elective cardoversion procedures daily, providing procedural sedation as appropriate.
THE RN CARDIOPULMONARY PRN DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Minimum Licensure and Certification: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required. Should you hold a RN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days. BLS required. ACLS is required within orientation period.
Minimum Experience/Additional Certification: One year experience as a RN is required. Experience in cardiovascular or critical care nursing is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. All duties and responsibilities must be performed within the scope of practice and in accordance to organizational and unit policies, procedures. Other duties may be assigned.
