NURSING COORDINATOR PRN 12 HOUR NIGHT SHIFT POSITION SUMMARY
(General statement reflecting the overall purpose of the position)
The Cord, Nursing coordinates a patient-centered admission process for patients transferring into the Abrazo Community Health Network/Carondelet System ensuring placement in an appropriate level of care bed and financial screening per EMTALA regulations . They employ critical thinking skills to expedite admissions into ACHN/Carondelet while demonstrating ACHN/Carondeletâ��s Mission, Vision, Values and Service Standards in all interactions with referring facilities, physicians, employees and guests.
THE NURSING COORDINATOR PRN 12 NIGHT SHIFT CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Required: Graduation from accredited nursing program Preffered: BSN preferred
Required: Minimum of 3 years continuous clinical experience in a critical/acute care setting with adult neuro/trauma/cardiovascular/critical care or emergency room nursing preferred. Ability to manage initial assessment data and prioritize patient care with appropriate decision making. Preferred: 8 years of critical care, emergency room, or house supervisor experience
Required: Registered Nurse with current state licensure. Current BLS certification required; Required: EMTALA Training through Tenet Healthstream Preffered: ACLS training preferred.
