RN Post Surgical Unit FT Nights Position Summary

This is a Full-Time position on a Post-Surgical unit which serves a variety of post-surgical patients, including all patients recovering from bariatric surgeries.

This position will be scheduled for three 12-hour Day shifts each week and will provide weekend coverage as needed.

Saint Francis Hospital�s Center for Surgical Weight Loss has been designated a �Center of Excellence� by the American Society of Bariatric Surgery.

This role provides direct clinical patient care.
The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.
The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

THE RN POST SURGICAL FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education: Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.

Experience: At least 6 months experience as an RN in an acute care setting.

Licensure/Certification: Current RN license to practice in the state of TN. BLS. ACLS within 90 days of start date.
