Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant II in Morristown and Rockaway, NJ for Laproscopic Surgery outpatient office.

No weekends

Monday - Friday

Have Locations throughout NJ - Morristown, Bridgewater and Rockaway

Essential Functions:

• Reviews daily appointment schedule with provider and develops a plan for patient care activities.
• Obtains Pre-Op paperwork, labs, referral consultation notes, and hospitalization and ED records prior to appointment.
• Manage patient flow, room patients, perform vital signs, medication check, EKG's, phlebotomy, etc.

Education:

• High School Diploma

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, NHA required
• Prior EMR physician practice experience a plus
• Experience with EPIC desired
