Shift: 6am to 3pm (Rotational schedule including weekends)
The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Deland: 701 Plymouth Ave. Deland, FL 32720
The role you’ll contribute: This position requires the Cardiovascular Sonographer to be proficient in performing cardiac diagnostic tests for the determination, treatment, and prognosis of cardiac disorders.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Performs special procedure in Cardiology Department.
Performs Transthoracic Echocardiograms, Trans esophageal Echocardiograms, Doppler Analysis and Color Flow Analysis.
Administers cardiac diagnostic procedures for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Maintains ultrasound equipment, and work area.
Performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and uses independent judgment to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images.
Performs Quality Assessment and participates in Performance Improvement.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Active registry with ARDMS or CCI in either Echo or Vascular required.
