This position is responsible for providing respiratory therapy, under medical direction, in the treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies of the cardiopulmonary system.
Responsibilities:
Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
Cleans and sets-up Respiratory Care equipment on a daily basis and after being used for patient care.
Monitors supplies and forms in Cardiopulmonary Department as needed.
Ensures all Respiratory Care areas throughout the facility are properly stocked with supplies and equipment, at all times.
Participates in educational activities to further his/her knowledge of Respiratory Care needs.
Assist in coverage for EKG as needed.
Requirements:
Education/Skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Experience
1?3 years of experience preferred.
