You.
You bring your body, mind, heart and spirit to your work as a New Graduate Registered Nurse.
Your compassion is tangible: patients feel it in the hand they hold. Families feel it in your prayers. Colleagues feel it in your support.
You know when to move quickly. When to sit quietly. When to laugh loudly.
Youâ™re great at what you do, but you want to be part of something even greater. Because you believe that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible.
Us.
We believe in you and in fostering your nursing career by providing personalized training and development and offering innovative technologies. This 12 month residency program, starting Monday, November 7th 2022, will include a combination of unit-based learning with a preceptor and classroom-based training and will help provide you with additional support as you begin your nursing career with us. Various units are participating in this program, including: Acute Medical; Surgical Trauma; Medical Oncology; Observation; and Telemetry. Shifts available will vary based on the unit needs. More information on the shifts available will be given during the interview process. Please note - If interested in Critical Care, the ED or OR, please look into our SNAP program by searching SNAP on our SCL Health career site. The SNAP program is available at four of our Denver-metro hospitals, also hiring new grad RNs, and the program starts in July and August of 2022.
Please submit an application to be considered for the New Grad Nurse Residency program. You must have an active RN license prior to the start of the program but are welcomed to apply prior to obtaining your RN license.
Good Samaritan Medical Center is part of SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. At our 234-bed Level II Trauma Center, our mission is to bring health and hope to the poor, the vulnerable, our communities and each other. Weâ™re especially proud of our people, who helped make us one of Americaâ™s 100 Best Hospitals according to Healthgrades.
Benefits are one of the ways we encourage health for you and your family. Our generous package includes medical, dental and vision coverage. But health is more than a well-working body: it encompasses body, mind and social well-being. To that end, weâ™ve launched a Healthy Living program to address your holistic health. Healthy Living includes financial incentives, digital tools, tobacco cessation, classes, counseling and paid time off. We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning.
We.
Together weâ™ll align mission and careers, values and workplace. Weâ™ll honor each otherâ™s dignity and surpass the standards we set. Weâ™ll encourage joy, demand safety and take pride in our integrity.
Weâ™ll laugh at each otherâ™s jokes (even the bad ones). Weâ™ll hello and high five. Weâ™ll celebrate milestones and acknowledge the value of spirituality in healing.
Weâ™re proud of what we know, which includes how much there is to learn.
