Part-time Pediatric Cardiologist Position with Full Health Benefits
Responsibilities
We are seeking a part-time pediatric cardiologist to join a two-person group in Dallas, Texas, and the surrounding metroplex. The position is with Pediatrix, a multispecialty pediatric group.
The ideal candidate is passionate about outpatient general pediatric cardiology. We read EKGâ™s and echocardiograms at many local NICUâ™s and newborn nurseries, and refer our patients to local centers for surgery. Fetal echocardiography would be a plus but not a requirement.
The group serves a broad variety of conditions and socioeconomic groups. The patient population includes congenital heart disease, sports participation screening, chest pain, syncope, and hyperlipidemia in multiple locations around the metro area. The position requires board certification or eligibility, and Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
Full benefits â“ medical/dental, retirement fund, and a generous matching 401(k) - are provided with this position.
We believe in an excellent work-life balance. Call responsibilities will be 1:4 but are light and support is provided in all avenues of practice, including medical assistants and experienced echocardiogram technologists. There is also easy access to all pediatric cardiology sub-specialists.
